APPLICATIONS

CD COMMANDER v1.4
A CD-R to use at TI? Who does not believe this thinks wrong. All you need is a TI with 80clm card and a SCSI card connected to a CD drive. The program can read PC CD-ROM, CD -R (if the drive supports it, also CD-RW) and Picture CD. Texts can be displayed on screen or printed, GIF images and data can be copied to the TI. It can also downloaded or self-created disk images (MESS, v9t9 or PC99 ) write back directly to disk. Version 1.3 now supports ISO9660 Level 2 (XA mode), ie. disks with long file names, NON-Windows text files and files with TIFILES header ! And version 1.4 now includes an improved TEXT80 engine and the processing of incorrect TIFILES header.

Since this is an ideal option for backing up data, I created a program bundle to copy and restore disks. It contains DSKBACKUP v1.2 for backup a disk, MFM5 to transfer it to the PC via a null modem and the CD COMMANDER for restoring.

CD - AGENT v1.1
Finally there is the "little brother" of the CD Commander ,too. Almost all features of this powerful CD-management are now playing WITHOUT 80clm's. All you need is a standard TI99/4A with expanded memory and disk drive and a SCSI card. And soon the access to all CD-ROMs is possible.
Now the improved version 1.1 with adaptation to the Funnelweb system.

Also for this application I made a program bundle to copy / restore disks. It contains DSKBACKUP v1.2 to back up, < FONT color = "# FF0080 "> MFM5 to transfer to the PC via a null modem and the CD MANAGER to restore.

REMIND_ME
A calendar with notepad function. In the present form the program supports for the first time the clock of the BWG controller and runs with SCSI devices.
GIF99 v1.15
The classic GIF viewer for EVPC with color palette is now available for all other graphics cards. Version 1.15 can now play animated GIFs.
MAGIC FILE MANIPULATOR
The ideal transfer program for the direct connection of TI99/4A and PC. Just a null modem cable or a modem is necessary to control the TI from a PC. In the new version 3.2.5 some bugs have been fixed in the assembly routines.
DSKBACKUP v2.1
A program for backing up and restoring disks or RAM disks. It stores an entire floppy disk in a single file. Since the storage format in the structure corresponds to the format of the virtual disks in TI emulators(.dsk files - v9t9/MESS format), so you can also transfer these "disks" on the TI. Now, finally, as E/A-5 version with Funnelweb support, improved error handling and more compelling user interface.

PIN archive v1.2
A small XB program for encrypting and storing up to 8 bank account access datas. Name of the bank, account number and PIN can be secured on the TI. Decryption is only with the TI and this program possible again. As a bonus, the program can view and print the pins in a encrypted, but for the initiated easily readable form. SCSI support and a mini catalog are available in V1.1, too.
PASSWORD Archive v1.2
The XB-program with machine routines is based on the PIN archive. It can hold up to 24 entries with decription, login string and 2 passwords to manage entry datas. All entries can be printed in a list or table with encrypted or readable passwords. A mini catalog, real lowercase and of course SCSI support are included, too.
Version 1.2 also includes the ability for im-/export of data in text and CSV format. (CSV - Comma Separated Value - is a standard format for data exchange with a PC, ie. for Outlook or Excel. )

GAMES

Burgenschlacht(castle battle)
Destroy the enemy castle before yours is destroyed. No shooting game in the usual sense - but that for 2 human opponents. Optionally to play using keyboard or joysticks.
China Chess
The chinese chess game in a computer version of Milo Tsukroff. It includes not only the game mode, also a learning version. The whole game uses a graphical user interface (GUI) with icons and window technology. The here available version is accelerated by assembly routines and automatical support of the 80clm card, if found.
Nanuk, der Eskimo (Nanook of the North)
Nanuk has to save a lot of little penguins from the clutches of ice- and other bears by jump over Whales. A fairly crazy story, but beautifully implemented by Willi H. Döltsch, the one-time best XB-game programmer.
Pooyan
The tale of the three little pigs and the big bad wolf, here in a very particular implementation. It reminds us a little bit on Robin Hood, too. A XB program with AS routines and permanent hiscore list.
Rain Game
Environmental protection as a game. Protect the forest against the sour rain. An almost legendary program from the 80s, now with universal control and permanent hiscore list.
Tillionaire v1.2
A quiz game in the style of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire " with over 350 questionsin 4 levels of difficulty in the main database and a number of specific databases with special themes. The program runs minimal with Extended Basic and 32K memory expansion, but also supports EPSON printer (for a certificate) and a 80clm mouse. A editor program allows the expansion of existing databases and the creation of new ones.
The new version 1.2 has been extended by 2 issues of databases. Since all the databases will no longer fit on a floppy, the game is now running either from multiple disk drives or from SCSI HDD/ZIP drive. All settings of the game can be made to easily accessible via a Setup program. And if a SPVMC card is installed, the program also supports speech output.

SUDOKU99 v1.1
The latest trend in terms of number puzzles is now available for TI99/4A. Sudoku is a logic numbers game, which is played in a field with 9x9 boxes. The field is also divided into 9 squares with 3x3 boxes. The aim of the game is the numbers 1 through 9 to enter so in the field that each number appears only once in each row, each column and each 3x3 box. Depending on the difficulty more or fewer numbers are already given.
The game has a graphical interface and is multilingual , ie. you can choose one from multiple languages at the program start. It contains about 130 puzzles in 4 difficulty levels , and more are in preparation. Neccessary for the program is merely a TI99/4A with Extended Basic and disk drive (for new versions also a memory expansion is needed). Joysticks are optional. Now version1.1 supports 5 languages and includes also more games.

UTILITIES

F-DATE
A utility for manipulating the time-/date stamp of file creation and update. Supports the clock of the BWG Disk Controller, but runs with all kind of controllers and RAM disks.
Mailbox
Two small machine programs to include in Extended Basic(CALL LINK). With them you can use the mailbox of the Funnelweb system for passing variables (eg. filenames) between a XB program and FW.
Run
Use the RUN command in Extended Basic with a variable. Nothing could be simpler than with this little machine program.
Tests
A collection of single test routines to check the keyboard, the joystick port and the 80clm mouse in Extended Basic.
Win-Convert
The program connects via "BATCH IT" to the Funnelweb editor, and thus enables the automatic conversion of texts with Windows ANSI character set to TI character set, and vice versa. The new version can now also change tabs to spaces and spaces into tabs. NOW IN BUG-FREE VERSION.

DISKS

In this section I will release at irregular intervals, usually after a TI User Meeting, disk images of floppy disk distributed there. And other diskettes compiled by myself, too.
The disk images are in '.dsk' format. You can directly use them in popular emulators like v9t9, MESS and TI994w. To convert such a image into a real floppy disk you need a special software like TI99-PC or MFM in conjunction with DSK-Backup .

All programs are in ARK format on the server. After a transfer to TI99/4A they need to be extracted there. For this purpose the Archiver 3.03 necessary. It can be downloaded here, if needed.
